| | Dynamic peak value Option P for TS 621 | |
| | • moving peak value of tension • Output 0 to 10V • additionally to the standard output • cut-off frequency selectable by DIP-Switch • 0,5 / 5 / 10 / 20 Hz |
|
Description | |
Option P offers a moving peak value acquisition of the measuring signal additionally to the standard output. A peak of the tension signal is captured with its absolute value. This peak value gets erased over a defined time constant. The following filter changes it to a smooth signal. The selectable cut-off frequencies ( fC ) are at 0,5Hz / 5Hz / 10Hz and 20Hz. |
Why? | |
In rotating machines the acquisition of tension signals often is done disconiously, e.g. stranding machines. The single wires get in contact with the sensor only for a short period of time. This results in a periodical series of tension peaks. This peaks are not usable for a tension control system. Option P forms a filtered, moving peak value and provides the control unit a clear tension signal.
