The sensor 125.12 HDI is designed for tension measurement on High Denier Industry yarns (e.g. BCF carpet yarns and high-strength fibers). Thread guides with ceramic surface allow the usage at line speeds higher than 7000m/min. The shiftable thread guiding device fulfills two functions: • comfortable, easy threading of the sensor into the running process • smooth threading, gentle on the material
• compact dimensions enable easy threading and handling • small angle of contact minimizes twisting interference in thread running properties • thread guides, oxide ceramics coated, with surfaces which are gentle on the threads - for low friction and wear even at maximum running speeds • high precision and long-term stability • effective overload protection means high availability for customer operations • high natural frequency for maximum response sensitivity even with high-frequency tensile force signals
